'Judicious' and her skipper, Tony Howard
| This site is about my yacht, Judicious, and my favourite sailing areas - the West coasts of Ireland and Scotland, and for 2003, the Faeroe Islands
|
|
There is information about Judicious, my Nicholson 32, and cruising notes. These give some useful information on the area which I hope you will find informative. Also included is a biography.
The Nicholson 32 was designed in the early 1960's by Charles Nicholson and was one of the first mass produced GRP yachts.

Judicious in the Solent and voyages in the English Channel, Brittany, SW and W Ireland and NW Scotland.

Trip to the Faeroes
In June/July 2003 we had a superb cruise to the Faeroe islands - absolutely fascinating. 250 miles N of Scotland few yachts visit the archipelago. Stunning scenery. Some pictures:

The Hamble River
|
The River Hamble, near Southampton, UK. I used to moor
Judicious here, but is it now such commercialised, industrialised sailing that
I have moved her to the W Coasts of Ireland and Scotland. Great sailing.
